Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity had a great night Thursday, with Hannity delivering an audience of 5.221 million viewers—the show’s biggest audience of the year and easily the most-watched prime time hour in all of cable news on the night.

The show featured a live interview with former President Donald Trump, who blamed President Biden for having “no plan of action whatsoever, no strategy, no change in strategy” in Afghanistan, leading to the attack at the Kabul airport that killed 12 U.S. service members. “”This tragedy should never have taken place. It should never have happened,” Trump said, “and it would not have happened if I were your president.”

Hannity also dominated prime time among viewers 25-54, the key demographic most valued by advertisers, delivering an audience of 1.026 million viewers.

Overall, Fox News Channel dominated prime time on the news-heavy night, with a total prime time audience of 4.636 million viewers, far ahead of MSNBC (1.789 million viewers) and CNN (1.103 million viewers).
